This Privacy Policy explains how Donate 3Dgifts (“we”, “us” or “our”) collects, uses and protects personal data when you visit donate3dgifts.com, create a creator page, make a donation or otherwise interact with our services (together, the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service you agree to the practices described below.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Information you provide directly

• Account & profile information – display name, email address, passwords (hashed), links to social media profiles.
• Donations & messages – the nickname you enter, donation amount and public message to the creator.
• Contact forms & newsletter – your name, email address and the contents of your message when you use EmailJS forms or subscribe to updates.

1.2 Information collected automatically

• Usage data – pages visited, links clicked, time spent, referring URL, approximate location (city/country) collected via cookies and similar technologies.
• Device data – browser type, operating system, screen resolution, IP address.

1.3 Payment information

Payments are processed by third‑party payment processors, including LiqPay (PrivatBank, Ukraine) and occasionally other providers (e.g., Stripe). We do not store your full card details on our servers. The only data we receive from the processor are limited transaction identifiers such as the last four digits of the card, card type, payment amount, currency and a transaction ID.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To operate, maintain and improve the Service.
• To process donations and display 3D gifts on the creator’s stream.
• To send transactional messages (e.g., payment receipts, important updates).
• To respond to enquiries and provide support.
• To send newsletters and marketing communications you have opted in to receive (you can unsubscribe at any time).
• To monitor and analyse usage via Google Analytics in order to better understand our audience and enhance performance.
• To detect, prevent and address technical issues, fraud or abuse.

3. Cookies & Analytics

We use first‑party cookies to keep you logged in and remember preferences, and third‑party cookies from Google Analytics (learn more) to aggregate statistics. You can disable cookies in your browser or install the Google Analytics opt‑out add‑on, but parts of the Service may not function properly.

4. Legal Basis for Processing

Where the EU/UK GDPR applies we rely on the following bases:

• Contract – processing necessary to provide the Service.
• Legitimate interests – analytics, security, marketing to existing users.
• Consent – sending newsletters, setting optional cookies.
• Legal obligation – accounting and taxation laws.

5. Sharing of Information

• Service providers – EmailJS (email delivery), LiqPay (payment processing), other payment processors, hosting providers and analytics platforms. They may access data only to perform services for us and must keep it confidential.
• Creators – your public nickname, donation amount and message are shared with the streamer you support.
• Legal & safety – where required by law or to protect our rights, users or the public.
• Business transfers – in connection with a merger, acquisition or asset sale, provided the receiving party agrees to honour this policy.

6. Data Retention

We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes outlined above, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law. Non‑transactional accounts that have been inactive for more than 24 months may be anonymised or deleted.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you;
• Object to or restrict our processing;
• Withdraw consent at any time (this does not affect processing prior to withdrawal);
• Receive a copy of your data in a portable format;
• Lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

8. Security

We implement industry‑standard technical and organisational measures such as HTTPS encryption, least‑privilege access controls and regular backups. However, no Internet transmission is 100% secure; you use the Service at your own risk.

9. International Transfers

Our servers are located in the European Union, but some service providers operate in other jurisdictions (for example LiqPay, headquartered in Ukraine). Where required, we rely on adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission to safeguard transfers.

10. Children’s Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any material changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the ‘Effective date’ above. Your continued use of the Service after the update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
